For both import and export containers, barge operators can submit a status request for their containers. When the barge operator makes the status request, RWG assumes that the container will be coming or leaving by barge. In this way, the container will be placed in the correct stacking modules. Another advantage for the barge operator is that automatic updates will be sent to you if the status of the container(s) changes. For you and for RWG this is an essential step towards an efficient and quick handling of barges on the terminal.
