The delivery of empty containers is stopped

Due to high volumes and the weather conditions of past days and coming period, the occupation of the yard is reaching its full capacity. As a result, RWG is forced to stop accepting empty containers.

As of Friday 14 February, it is no longer possible for road transport to deliver empty containers to RWG. Delivery via inland shipping or train is no longer possible from Tuesday 18 February. For the return of empty reefers, you should contact with the relevant shipping company.

The measure applies until further notice.

Maiden call CMA CGM Chile

On Tuesday 28 January 2020 the CMA CGM Chile had its maiden call at RWG. The CMA CGM Chile is a 15.000 TEU vessel and is sailing under the flag of Malta. The ship was built in 2019 and is, together with the CMA CGM Argentina, CMA CGM Panama, CMA CGM Mexico and CMA CGM Brazil, part of a series of five ships. The ship is deployed in the NEU5 service of the Ocean Alliance between Asia and Northwestern Europe, which calls at RWG on a weekly basis.

The CMA CGM Panama will have its maiden call on Monday 11 November 2019 at RWG. The CMA CGM Panama is a 15.000 TEU vessel and is sailing under the flag of Malta. The ship was built in 2019 and is – together with the CMA CGM Argentina, CMA CGM Mexico, CMA CGM Chile, CMA CGM Brazil – part of a series of five ships. The ship is deployed in the NEU4 service of the Ocean Alliance between Asia and Northwestern Europe, which calls weekly at RWG.
