In addition to the already available operational website RWGServices, RWG has launched a mobile application for all market parties on December 16th. This application is suitable for smartphone and tablet. The RWG application, freely available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, offers operational information like the vessel arrival and departure times and container status. Moreover, the application provides information about the actual truck visit time and the occupancy rate of the time slots on the terminal. The application will also become RWG’s central communication channel for sending notifications about the terminal status, for example when the terminal is being closed due to weather conditions, planned maintenance or system failure. The goal of RWGServices and the application is to provide for transparent, timely and accurate information towards all market parties, which fits the current time and the ultramodern RWG terminal.
